INFORMATION DOCUMENT FOR USERS REQUESTING INFORMATION THROUGH THE CONTACT FORM
ON THE SUBJECT OF PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
PURSUANT TO ART. 13 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 196 OF 30.06.2003
According to art. no. 13 of Legislative Decree 30.06.2003, the company Dedalus USA, having its registered office in NY 10011, 5 west 19th Street New York (U.S.A.), as the Owner of the information, informs the users about purposes and methods of processing the collected personal data, their ambit of communication and disclosure and the nature of their provision.
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
Personal data, identity related (first name, last name, e-mail and phone number if provided) and computer and network related, collected about the user and voluntarily communicated through the “contact us” section of the company’s website and undergoing processing, are used by the Owner for the proper management of the request sent by the user and for its possible fulfillment.
Data are processed through IT and telematic devices by specifically appointed internal operators. Data are stored in telematic registries for which the minimum safety measures required by law are totally guaranteed.
COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE
Personal information won’t be disclosed, sold or shared with third parties without the direct consent of the interested subject, except in case of possible communications to authorized third parties – committed to confidentiality or appointed controllers as per art. 29 of Legislative decree no. 196/2003 – (such as IT support companies), when necessary for the purposes described in this document. Data could be also communicated to the relevant authorities accordingly to the national law.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
Data are kept exclusively for the time necessary to interact with the user and provide information.
The user will be able to assert his rights as stated in articles 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, by contacting the Owner. In particular, accordingly to art. 7, he will be able to obtain confirmation about the existence or non-existence of personal data that concerns him, even if not registered yet, and communication of the same in a comprehensible way. The user has the right to be informed about: a) the source of personal data; b) purposes and methods of their processing; c) the logic applied in case data are processed through the use of electronic devices; d) identification details of the Owner and appointed controllers accordingly to art. 5, paragraph. 2; e) the subjects or categories of subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed or that may learn them as appointed controllers in the territory of the State. The user has the right to obtain: a) the update, amendment and, if interested, integration of data; b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, included those data whose conservation is not necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed; c) the attestation that the operations described in a) and b) have been communicated, even for what concerns their contents, to those subjects to whom data have been communicated or disclosed, except when such fulfillment turns out to be impossible or requires a use of means clearly disproportioned to the protected right. The user has the right to object, totally or partially: a) for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data that concerns him, even if pertaining to the purpose of the collection; b) to the processing of personal data that concerns him if used for sending advertising material or perform market research and commercial communication activities.

NATURE OF DATA SUBMISSION
Data submission is optional, but the possible refusal implies the inability for the Owner to fulfil the user’s requests.
According to art. 23 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, for the proper management of the requests sent through the “Contact us” section of the company’s website, the consent to the processing of the above mentioned data is necessary as the same were collected with no prior contractual arrangements.
